Many times people might confuse the Canine papilloma virus with other types of dog warts. We have compiled some pictures from my dog, the web, and visitors to this website who have had dogs with COPV.
If you have some before and after pics of your dog, send them in.

I have a stray dog that is mine now. He appears to be 1 year old. He is a lab and has these white bumps all over his legs, feet and some on the belly. I also have a pit, 6 years old now that I also rescued. I also have a 6 year old chihauha. They are all around each other. Now I have to worry about them getting these warts. What can I do?
My dog has one the vet said that some dogs have 8-12 and they then have to be removed to help dog eat or drink. It isn’t letting me copy a picture here if have other email could send if you still want another picture.
My 1 1/2 year old Weimaraner had 4 warts in her mouth – discovered by my 6 year old son as he played with her big floppy jowls! One on her upper and lower lip and two on her inner cheek. I gave her 4 chewable flex-pet tabs (the recommended dosage for her weight was 3 but it said you could give one additional tab to dogs with weaker immune systems) for 2 1/2 weeks. 1 week into the medication I gently rubbed the warts themselves between my fingers (I wore a pair of surgical gloves). Some websites mentioned trying to crush or break the warts open but I simply rubbed the to see if anything changed in the appearance. Three weeks from starting the flex-pet the warts are all gone! Thank you – great product!
